Cookies
The short version: we set none for visitors, so there is no banner to click. Here is exactly what does and does not happen in your browser.
Cookies we set
None, for visitors. Reading this site, running a scan, sending a request and using your private ticket all work without a cookie from us.
What we do not use
- No analytics cookies.
- No advertising or social media pixels.
- No cookies that follow you to other websites.
- No fonts, scripts or videos loaded from other companies' servers.
That is why you see no cookie banner here: there is nothing to ask permission for.
The one thing saved in your browser
If you switch between light and dark, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site looks the same on your next visit. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us, and it says nothing about who you are. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
A security cookie from our network
The site sits behind Cloudflare, which protects it from attacks. If Cloudflare needs to check that a visit comes from a person and not an attack, it may set a short-lived security cookie to remember that the check passed. It is used for protection only, not for advertising or for following you.
Your private ticket
A request is opened with a private link, not an account, so there is no login cookie. Anyone holding the link can read the ticket, which is why we ask you to keep it to yourself.
Our own login
When we sign in to manage the site, a login cookie is set in our browser. It is never set for visitors.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Everything on this site keeps working, except that the light or dark choice is forgotten.
If this changes
If we ever add something that needs a cookie, this page changes first, and we ask before setting anything that is not strictly needed.
